Swedish High Command
Swedish army of the period was famous for its excellent and experienced officers (many of them were veterans of TYW). The king was the general commander of the army, in his absence troops was led by field-marshals. Generals were usually in charge of a group of several regiments. Colonels and generals commanded regiments but in field they were quite often led by lt. colonels or sometimes majors.
Set include 17 mounted models, 6 foot models, set of banners and metal bases. Set include models sufficient to field:
1 base of Swedish Marschall
1 base of Swedish General
3 bases of Swedish Colonel with mounted staff
2 bases of Swedish Colonel with foot staff
Models supplied unassembled and unpainted.
